Geno Kross
Personality:
Geno is a silent character that tends to stay off on his own. He only interacts with people when they approach him, and in that case he always avoids deep conversation. He’s not shy, as much as he just doesn’t like interacting with others. If you get close to him, he’ll usually give you the silent treatment, or answer you with one word statements. On the rare occasion that you get him to talk in extended sentences, he is sort of formal but very rude at the same time. He sees other people as lesser beings to him, and doesn’t think anyone’s worthy of his presence.
History:
Geno was a poor child, raised in 17th Century England by a woman who had picked him up from the side of the street. He was the youngest of 7 children, and his brothers and sisters were always fighting over food and drink, so Geno barely made it through life. When he was finally old enough to take care of himself, he left his family and went about his life. Striving to be a scientist, he wanted to make sure that the world was healthy enough for children that were in his position. He often took in kids from the street and fed them, making sure they made it into Foster care before they got too attached. He didn’t like meeting or interacting with others, but he harbored a certain degree of warmth towards homeless children since he was once in that position.
Around the age of 25, he thought he had found a cure for disease in general. Turning it in, it was found to have worked very well and he thought he’d become famous for curing the world. But the government took him into custody, destroyed his research and locked him in a high security facility, monitored by The Queens guard. Sure that the English government was evil and didn’t care for the world, Geno tried escaping but to no avail. He had no fighting ability, and they were trained soldiers. Residing himself to his fate, he waited in peace, sure that he would live the rest of his life here. But during his imprisonment, several years after he had been imprisoned he was released for no reason whatsoever, and outside was a man waiting for him. The man didn’t say a word, but instead brought him to a large building, and led him inside. After stepping into the building, he turned to ask the man what he was doing here, but the man was gone. No one was in the building, so he roamed around and finally came across a staircase, leading downwards. No other doors were open, so he had no choice but to follow.
Once downstairs, he came across a laboratory with a table in the middle and several men in white lab coats waiting for him. They apprehended him in silence, not offering any words to put his heart to rest. Tying him down on the table, they started experimenting on him as if he was a test subject. He screamed, and screamed but no matter what he said they just continued with their work. He was trapped in the lab for several weeks, during which they barely fed him enough to keep him just alive and continued experimenting on him relentlessly. Resigning to his fate, he assumed that he would die in this place. After the weeks past, he began to feel something rise in his mind. Confused on what it was, he grasped towards it and tried to touch it more, to see if it could help him. Finally grasping it, a voice told him many things, some of which he didn’t understand. The voice told him how to escape, and how to harness ancient powers that the experiments had awoken in him. Listening to the voice, he broke free of the table, and killed all of the scientists that were working on him, reveling in the power he had gained.
Over the next few years, he left civilization behind and trained in secret where no one could harm him, or know of his existence. Here he learned how to harness certain energies, as well as his most powerful set of abilities The Ten Commandments. Tattoos began appearing on his body the more he learned about his powers. During this time he learned that he was now immortal, unable to die by the elements or age. No one has been able to kill him since he gained his new powers, and he has ever since roamed the land, an immortal being. He does not have any particular goal in mind, and at the moment is searching for someone who could perhaps explain more about the voice that had contacted him, and how he gained these powers.
Appearance:
Geno is about 6 foot 2 inches, and weighs nearly 150. He is somewhat slim, and looks as if he doesn’t eat much which he doesn’t. He has silver hair that covers most of his eyes, although you can see some of his left. From what you see his eyes are a bland grey color, nothing too special about them. He wears a black long sleeve shirt that covers some of his palms and goes past his wrist. His jeans are grey and bland. He wears a short black necklace that has a silver star shaped pendant on the end. He is often seen with one hand in his pocket and the other up at his mouth, as if he’s thinking.
Weapons:
Geno has a few weapons he uses, but he doesn’t carry them with him. They morph completely off from the tattoos on his body, becoming a real thing and peeling off of his skin.
He has a pitch black sword that is completely pitch black. No other color is seen on this blade. It has a unique ability, allowing him to target an opponent’s shadow, and deal damage accordingly to that person. However, if he stabs your real body the sword will pass through harmlessly, as if nothing had happened.
He owns a special dagger, meant to be used in ceremonies for The Ten Commandments, during which he has to give up blood for certain things to work. There is no special ability; it is just a simple dagger that he will use if he has to against you.
He has one final blade he uses, which he only brings out if he reaches The Seventh Commandment. This blade is a large Great sword, put together from the souls of his enemies. With each person he kills, it grows in size. It has a large, one foot long hilt and a blade that is nearly six feet long. Altogether it is even taller than him, but he can wield it with one hand no problem. The blade can split into several pieces, which he can control remotely and make them attack all at once or have a separate purpose he wants to use.
Abilities:
Geno has control over several elements, including PE, CE, TE, and Quintessence.
PE – The energy of repulsion. It can be used as an opposite of gravity, or used to rework the world into a better fit for what he likes.
CE – The energy of origin, which has the ability to mostly heal the user if need be.
TE – The energy of time. The user could use this to bend time and space and teleport in a sense, as well as rewind time to a certain degree. This power is limited though, and tires him out very easily.
Quintessence - Quintessence is a hypothetical form of dark energy postulated as an explanation of observations of an accelerating universe. It is also thought by some to be a fifth fundamental force.
The Ten Commandments:
The Ten Commandments are a set of laws, so to speak that Geno can enforce in a battle. He has to follow all the way from 1 to 10, and cannot jump past any certain ones. The Ten Commandments are unknown to anyone but himself, and will be added later on in the story as he goes about using them accordingly.
Miscellaneous Information:
Geno is approximately 500 years old, being born in the 17th century. He doesn’t get sick, as a result of the experiments done to him years back. He has the body he had at 27, which is when he was made immortal. He’s right handed, but will use his left if he has too.
