Deyton, The Lost Wanderer
Appearance:
Deyton is a man of medium height, around 6’1”, and weighs around 160 pounds. He appears as if he is 25 years old, though he is much, much older than that. He has two appearances he uses, only showing up different for special occasions. He has shaggy black hair that looks messy but is soft and always clean. His eyes are a deep set black, with tiny dots of white all over. Some have said they remind them of a starry night, especially since where his pupil should be is just a white larger size dot, eerily similar to a moon. His eyes look like a galaxy, as if someone had taken a picture of the stars and moon and then taped the picture over his eyes. If you look close enough you can see the stars and moon moving, ever so slowly. He has handsome features, with a strong muscular frame.
Outfit #1: Deyton wears a pair of black jeans, with chains hanging from the pockets. He has on a belt, with several pouches hanging off his belt. He wears a white t-shirt that is usually tucked into the jeans, or hidden because of the cloak. A black cloak finishes of the attire, hanging down to his knees with several pockets all over, able to hold many things. Underneath the cloak, and wrapped around his arms are a pair of chains. Each arm is covered, from the shoulder to the elbow by these chains, both dyed completely black. No skin is visible underneath the chains, so it is impossible to tell how muscular his biceps are. His shoes are simple black combat boots, specifically made for him. On his head is a straw hat, that was taken from Gray when he was absorbed by Deyton. The straw hat is the only thing he has left of Gray, other than the teachings he was given. This is more for meeting and talking with people, not fighting.
Outfit #2: Deyton wears a pair of jeans that are pitch black at the waist, and fade from black to stark white all the way down at his ankles. (The middle part is gray if you can’t understand, and it basically changes from black to white slowly.) He wears the same belt with the same pouches on his jeans. On his torso is a black muscle shirt, with a strange design in the middle that looks like a star would up close. He wears the same chains around his biceps, dyed completely black from his shoulder to his elbows. This outfit has the same combat boots and hat as outfit #1. This outfit is more for battling, and his preferred attire with how often he gets challenged.
History:
Deyton was born an Angel, far in the past. He lived his life for several billion years, nothing of importance or excitement occurring until one day he met a man named Sith, the Lost Wanderer. Sith was not a human, and he never told Deyton what he was, leaving him in the dark forever. Sith took Deyton under his wing, as he was tired of his boring lifestyle as an Angel. From that point on he was a Fallen Angel, and forsaken by everyone of his kind. Sith taught Deyton many things, including how to fight and kill. He taught Deyton how to be gentle, and use his newfound power for goodness though, which he listened intently to for a long time. One day while training, they were ambushed by members of Deyton’s kind, who had been sent to kill both Deyton and Sith. They were able to fight off the group of Angels, but not before Sith was dealt a blow from which there is no return. In his dying moments, he told Deyton not to grieve, and said he had a gift for him for the years of great service as a student. Touching his forehead softly, Sith transported Deyton to a separate dimension, and gave Deyton complete control over it. In the dimension was a large castle, which Deyton entered and looked around, finding a note. The note read as such “Hello Deyton. If you are reading this, then I have passed and this place is now yours. You will know how to transport in and out by yourself now, which may seem strange as it was never taught to you. You will learn to control this place as well as I did. It was my sanctuary, and it is now yours.” The note was short and to the point, as Sith often was. At this point, Deyton took his masters title as The Lost Wanderer, and set about to hunt his brothers down. Several years later, after training almost constantly, he attacked the castle he had lived his entire life in, endlessly slaughtering all of his brothers and sisters for the grief of losing his master. They couldn’t stop him as he murdered endless hordes of their people. Finally coming across his Father and their guard, he let himself be captured, and brought to face his Father. His arms and legs being held by the guard, he waited for Father to touch him on the forehead, smirking as he did and they were all transported to his home. Once there, they could not stop him, as he slaughtered the guard one by one, finally coming upon his Father and dealing the finishing blow. Finished, he lost a purpose in life. He had no master. No goal. No family. He was alone.
(From here on is what has happened in the real storyline from the board. The above was the background story I gave Deyton when I created him.)
Hundreds of years later, he stumbled upon a planet known as Earth. He began a new life there, meeting many people and making friends. Finding himself a new master named Gray, he trained vigorously for months, increasing his strength extremely, learning many new teachings and philosophies from Gray. Unlike Sith, Gray taught how to be ruthless and bloodthirsty, not caring for anyone but yourself. After the months of training were complete, Gray decided that he had no purpose left to live. He turned his body into pure energy, and Deyton absorbed him completely. Taking his hat from where it was placed by Gray, Deyton put it on and hence moved on to complete his masters teachings. He took on many enemies and killed hundreds of people, gathering weapons and abilities from those he had murdered. He created his own city on Earth, making it his home away from home. And grew close with many people. He created many new abilities during this time, and came up with different energies by combining the ones and basing off from what he already knew. From then on he has been doing nothing but training, and killing. He has grown ruthless, and is considered one of the most stone cold killers known to the universe.
Abilities and Weapons:
Deyton is skilled in the use of a blade, and in the use of energy. Superhuman speed and strength coupled with an IQ high above average make him an opponent to fear. Energies and Weapons he knows and owns are below.
Wrath Energy (WE) - A strange type. Deyton is able to focus in on his opponent and find any Wrath (anger) that person is feeling at the time, and turn it into energy that he grows physically stronger and faster from the more there is.
Temporal Energy (TE) - The ability to reweave time in a way that he prefers. Usually uses this to avoid close calls and move through time and space with no way to sense the movement or to know where he is going. Good for when he is getting attacked and doesn't have a lot of reaction time to block or dodge, but if he uses it too much he grows increasingly weak, so it's scarcely seen.
Nature Energy (NE) - A personal favorite of his. By giving up his sense of smell, he is able to "smell" the Nature Energy in the world around him. Anything that is living, or connected to life he can sense perfectly, and sometimes even better than his normal sight allows. It works very well when he shuts down all his other senses and focuses on that alone. It also gives him the ability to take away Nature Energy from anything that has it. If it is a person, that person loses control of whatever part of his body that the energy was stolen from. If it's all taken....... well, I think you know. He can also eat NE to grow stronger and revitalize himself if he is weak.
Stark Energy (SE) - Stark Energy is very unstable, and something that Deyton does not fully trust using yet. It is an extremely powerful energy that allows him to create anything he needs at that moment, although if used right he is able to reweave certain objects, even people. This is even worse than TE when considering how weak it makes him, as he will almost always collapse after just one use.
Phantom Energy (PE) - An energy that is usually confused for something separate. It is something like the opposite of gravity, but it has another use like Stark Energy where he can recreate anything to his liking. This doesn't weaken him as much as it puts a strain on his body that can slow him down and make him weaker physically. Very deadly when combined with a bit of Stark Energy and Temporal Energy, which he likes to do frequently.
Celestial Energy (CE) - Celestial Energy is a confusing subject that Deyton is still figuring out as it was given to him by Gray's sacrifice and there wasn't much explaining. What he knows is that it is a pure energy. It is the beginning energy you could say, it is able to heal him of any illness and "pure" his body of a sickness he may have. He likes to use it to create black holes in his fights as it is very deadly when combined with Aether and Ether.
Mach Energy (ME) – Mach Energy focuses on sound and shockwaves in the area. He can increase his strength using it, as well as create his own sound and shockwaves, to disrupt or even injure his opponent.
June Energy (JE) – June Energy is a little strange. It is the only energy of Deytons that you can actually see with your eyes. It has a strange looking blue color, and whatever it touches seems to wither before your eyes. The fact of this Energy is that it’s an illusion. If it touches your hand, and you see it begin to decay in front of your eyes, it is not actually happening. It’s meant to throw his opponent off, and make them think it’s affecting them when all it’s doing is messing with their brain.
Halo Energy (HE) – Halo Energy is a type of energy that feeds off of the purity in the area. It increases his strength depending on how pure the area is, and how pure the objects in the area are.
Quintessence, Aether, Ether, and Nether are all Energies that Deyton can use, and each are real things. Google them if you’d like to know.
Below are all of the weapons:
Dragnipur- A black sword with starry white dots in the blade. Its hilt is pitch black. It has the ability to suck in the soul of anyone it cuts or stabs. They are transferred to a separate dimension of nothing, and are stuck there until they die. The only way to free anyone trapped is for an outsider to break the sword, and anyone still alive in the dimension will be freed.
Reika and Beika- Dual wield katanas that he doesn't use a lot. Deyton made them himself and they were his first pair of dual wield blades. The souls of ancient swords masters are trapped inside, and they can move on their own, without Deyton needing to use them. He likes to have them take control, but keep a hold of them and let them weave his body through the cuts and slashes that they perform.
The Blood Sword- A sword that is red as blood, and half as inviting. It takes the shape of any sword Deyton requires, as long as it is within a 2 1/2 foot length to 4 foot length, and not too heavy, as the material cannot be divided out farther than that without the sword becoming fragile. One cut from this blade, is in most cases fatal if you require blood to live, for when cut by it the cut gushes blood much quicker and a much larger amount than the cut would appear to allow. Also, whenever the sword is covered in blood, it may fix or repair any damage done, such as chips, or even complete breaking, as well as use the blood as a temporary extension of the blade, as it was made from a strange metal melted, and mixed with blood.
Dante's Blade- A shortsword, with a blue pommel and hilt, and a long green blade. It has the ability to dislodge the blade itself from the hilt, and float around separately, while the hilt can be filled with another substance, such as energy, or an element to fill the void. A very strange blade, that isn't often use by Deyton, however he does sometimes take it out.
Godslayer- A long dagger, with a normal appearance, but a far from normal ability set. It's main ability is the ability to change form. Any type of weapon you can think of, it can shape-shift into. Side ability is that it will suck the soul of anyone it kills into a crystal that Deyton always carries with him at his waist. Probably his most used weapon, along with Blackwand, which he almost always wields the two together.
Blackwand- A pitch black sword, with a normal shape, but a far from normal ability set. When drawn, the sword strikes fear and discomfort in all but its wielder. Side abilities include the ability to suck the soul of anyone it kills into a crystal Deyton carries, although unlike Godslayer, Deyton can tell the blade not to, if he doesn't want that. The blade is alive, in a strange way. It is a female, and has deep connection with its wielder, whoever that may be, in this case Deyton though. It can also shape-shift into a woman, if it wants to, and in this case it has been known to protect the wielder, even after the person has feinted. If Deyton were to collapse from exhaustion for example, Blackwand would protect him, whether by staying a blade or morphing into a woman is up to that moment. Probably his most used weapon, along with Godslayer, which he almost always wields the two together.
Glory Goat and Sarat Wept- Dual wield blades, of a normal appearance. They are unbreakable, or notchable, or scratchable, or anythingable. Most widely known for the sound they make when another blade touches them. It is known to be a loud and unusual ringing, as if a bell had gone off, that continues to grow in volume the longer the fight drags on and the more another blade touches either. The sound is extremely uncomfortable to listen to, and usually becomes a distraction that causes an opponent his life.
The Great Destroyer- A great sword, of immense size. Can break itself in two and be dual wield, but Deyton usually keeps them separate. It has the ability for its strikes to pack much more power than they seem that they would. For example, if Deyton were too slowly swing it, from five feet away, once it made contact with whatever, it would feel to that thing or person as if he had swung it very quickly, from ten feet away, and would take that effect on the thing or person.
Tento- A blade with a somewhat transparent, leaf green color. It has no ability, other than the fact that it is the sharpest sword in existence. It may cut through almost every substance ever made, including unbreakable things, and is extremely dangerous. Wield with care, for it is often heard of users cutting themselves into pieces by accidentally swinging the sword too hard and having it come back to them. The only so far known substance not able to be cut by it, is the sheath, which is made of a strange cloth-like material, that Deyton doesn't even know all of what is in it. The so far known materials are Leather, Tungsten, and Xenon (strange that one is a gas) and no one has been able to recreate the sheath no matter how many times it's been tried.
Milzan- A blade that is so clear it is almost invisible. It is thin to the point that you'd think it'd break upon the lightest tap, but it holds against even the strongest of hits, although it has had to be repaired in secret by Deyton several times. It has the ability to cut objects that are out of its reach. If Deyton slashes you with it, and you jump back, many cases have found out that the slash still reaches you from a distance. How is not known, but some believe it has something to do with Dimension travel.
Aragorn- A normal looking blade, with a gray hilt and a gray blade. The crosshair is stark white however, and shaped like a star. It has the ability to shoot blasts of compressed energy from the blade, in the form of bullets, lasers, slashes, or anything you can think of really. The energy depends on what energy Deyton charges it with, as it requires a charge before use, to build up how much power will be used. Can also be used as a normal blade in a sword fight.
The Price to Pay- A blade with a strange gleam. It has a red hilt, and a blue blade and cross hair. The ability is strange, an dangerous to both the user and the opponent. Once cut by this sword, no matter how small, it tracks onto you, and from then on, any damage done to the user isn't transferred, but shared with the opponent, whether self-inflicted by the user, or normally inflicted by the opponent. There is no way to separate a bond, unless the sword is broken, or Deyton releases the person that has been targeted.
